Donations - How do I donate items?

All Harris County branches accept donated materials. We are not always able to process donated materials for the collection, but many of them are given to a local branch's Friends of the Library organization, which sells the items to the public and uses the funds generated to support the library's collection, programs and services. It is recommended that you call your local branch and find out when you may drop off your materials. Branch location information can be found here: https://www.hcpl.net/locations.
